35 Surrey students receive Beedie Luminaries Scholarships

An astounding 35 students from 14 Surrey secondary schools are receiving scholarships worth between $15,000 and $40,000 from the Beedie Luminaries Scholarship program.

The program supports resilient Grade 12 students facing financial adversity who want to make positive change in their lives, with students receiving either $10,000 per year for a four-year bachelor degree program, or $7,500 per year for a two-year college certificate, diploma or trades program.

Students may use their scholarships at 25 B.C. post-secondary institutions.
