Connect to Kindergarten: Information sessions for families of children entering Kindergarten     

Kindergarten is an important milestone for children, filled with new discoveries, friendships, and endless possibilities. We also know this time is equally important to parents and caregivers. To support families as they prepare for Kindergarten, we are excited to offer the Connect to K series of information sessions. Session 3 Emotional Well being and School Readiness: How play and attachment are key is in person at the District Resource Education Centre on April 15th. 6.30-8pm.

Kindergarten registration and Ready Set Learn Connect Opportunities: We are excited to have your child start Kindergarten in September! Registration begins January 15^th 2024. For more information, please click here for a Kindergarten Fact Sheet (also available in Arabic, Chinese, Punjabi and Spanish). To register, please go to the district website. 

By registering early, you ensure you will receive invitations from your child’s school to join in Ready Set Learn Connect events and activities designed to welcome you and your child into the school community. This is one important way to help build connections between home and school, and builds your child’s enthusiasm and confidence about coming to Kindergarten in September.
