Accessibility

The Surrey School District is committed to ensuring that every individual has full access to our programs and services. An important part of this work is to ensure that students, staff and community members with disabilities have a voice in identifying, removing, and preventing barriers in our district learning environments, workplaces, or school communities.

Our district is dedicated to inclusion, accessibility, and equity for every member of our district, school communities and those interacting with the district. We are committed to improving the experiences of people with disabilities and, in the spirit of “Nothing About Us, Without Us”, we encourage our community to share their feedback and experiences.

You can find our Surrey Schools Accessibility Plan here. As we implement this plan, and work to make our district more accessible, we invite you to share your thoughts with us.

Below, you will find two Accessibility Feedback surveys which enable you to provide us with feedback on our Accessibility Plan and/or barriers to accessibility that you may have identified in the district.

All feedback received will be confidential and anonymized feedback will be shared with the Accessibility Advisory Committee and the Accessibility Working Group. This feedback will be considered during future reviews and when we update the Accessibility Plan.

Thank you for sharing your voice and experiences with us.
