Gifts in Kind

Do you have a valuable collection of books, art or memorabilia? Are you able to donate equipment or other supplies that Surrey Schools could use? Can you donate skilled instruction in art, science, gardening, cooking, sports or recreation to after-school programs?  If so, you could make a non-cash gift-in-kind donation. Surrey Schools will gladly accept any gifts-in-kind for which there is a use in the district. Tax receipts may be issued for some gifts in kind.  To issue a tax receipt, the equipment or service being donated must first be appraised to determine fair market value of the gift.

District Benefits of Making a Donation: Donors may also receive free use of gyms and rooms in the district or complimentary distribution of information or flyers to schools.  Please contact the Advancement Office for more information at donations@surreyschools.ca or 604-595-6066.
