District Science and Innovation Fair

The Surrey District Science and Innovation Fair is the largest and longest running district fair in the province. Each year, we host an amazing exhibition of student learning in two categories: Experiment and Innovation.

South Fraser Regional Science Fair

The South Fraser Regional Science Fair is for Grades 7 – 12 students from Surrey and Delta public and independent schools.

For more information visit the South Fraser Regional Science Fair website.

Reimagining Science Fair

We are reimagining Science Fair to focus on Curricular Competencies. We encourage student projects to focus on Applying and Innovating, advancing their learning beyond research and experimentation, to design and create solutions to real-world problems.

The following video briefly explains some of the changes we have implemented over the past few years.

Canada-Wide Science Fair

The Canada-Wide Science Fair (CWSF) brings Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) out of the classroom - engaging youth in STEM solutions to real world issues. CWSF is a celebration of Canada's brightest young minds and an inspiring exploration in STEM for the thousands of visitors.

For more information visit the Canada-Wide Science Fair website.

Gold medal winners at the South Fraser Regional Science Fair qualify for the CWSF. We will be sending up to five Surrey students (all expenses paid!)
