Multilingual mental health videos for students & families
The past two school years have been difficult on students of all ages and taken a toll on mental health.
In response, Surrey Schools has developed two animated videos, that help support students & families with information and guidance about issues surrounding mental health, including stress and anxiety.
In addition to English, the videos are available in Punjabi, Chinese, Arabic and French.
Fraser Health Region Rapid Response Team animated videos:
Surrey Schools, via the Fraser Health region Rapid Response Team, developed video resources for students and families to support conversations around mental health, including stress and anxiety. Below are two animated videos, available in age-appropriate elementary and youth versions, and translated in multiple languages. Closed captioning is also available. The first, You Are Not Alone, is about mental health in general, while the second, Coping with Stress & Anxiety, addresses stress specifically and strategies on how to cope.
