As we wrap up our artificial intelligence series for the 2024-25 school year, Surrey Schools wants your input on AI in learning for the series finale!
The district is gathering input through an online survey to inform upcoming AI-related content, events and communication strategies. Students, parents, staff and the community are invited to take part in a three-minute survey exploring:
- How comfortable our school community members are with using AI
- Their knowledge of AI
- Their interest in related topics
- Who they’d like to hear from about AI
- How they’d like to receive information about district initiatives with AI
To date, the district has hosted two parent AI events (The Promise and Potential of AI for Our Children and Artificial Intelligence & Learning) covering the privacy, security and ethics of AI in classrooms; how AI may be used to facilitate learning in the near future; and the district’s plans to integrate AI with students and staff.
By taking a few minutes to complete our survey, you can help us identify the most important AI topics to explore next. Your thoughts will guide our efforts to provide meaningful content that will prepare students and families for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow's world.
We look forward to hearing from you and continuing this important conversation.
The survey closes April 10 at 11:59 p.m.
