Surrey students win big at 3rd annual Level Up Dance Competition
Secondary students from throughout the Lower Mainland hit the dancefloor at this year’s Level Up Dance Competition, hosted at École Salish Secondary on April 9, with numerous Surrey dance teams winning accolades.
Dance groups from Johnston Heights Secondary, L.A. Matheson Secondary, Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary and Sullivan Heights Secondary placed first across several categories while teams from Fraser Heights Secondary, Grandview Heights Secondary, École Kwantlen Park, North Surrey Secondary, École Panorama Ridge and École Salish Secondary took other podium positions for various types of choreography, including hip-hop, jazz and contemporary.
