Math
At our school students have opportunities to learn basic numeracy skills in the junior grades, and more advanced mathematics in senior courses, that meet graduation requirements and are pre-requisites for various post-secondary programs. We have a strong team of staff who are committed to helping students succeed in math.

Math Homework Help
Math Homework Help is a program that provides an opportunity for students to get help with their Math assignments. Student tutors will help students in younger grades with their assignments. A teacher is in the room for supervision and to assist student tutors when needed.

Math Contests Offered at Lord Tweedsmuir
Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary gives students the opportunity to write the following Canadian Math Contests that are offered by the University of Waterloo.

Gauss (Grade 8)
These contests give students the opportunity to challenge themselves and enhance their problem solving skills. Any students interested in writing these contests should see Ms. Musico in room C306 or contact her via TEAMS.
