Communicating Student Learning: Core Competencies Weeks *NEW*

As part of the new K-12 reporting process, all students are now required to set goals and reflect on their progress in relation to the Core Competencies. For more on the Core Competencies and how parents/caregivers can support their child's development in these areas, click HERE. 

There will be three Core Competency week-long sessions throughout the year, plus an introductory session taking place in October. These sessions will take place at school, facilitated by school staff. Your child is expected to participate in all of the sessions, and is required by the Ministry of Education to complete their Core Competency goal setting and reflection exercises.

When your child receives their formal Learning Updates (report cards), there will be instructions on how you can access their work on the Core Competencies. More information on this to come as we approach November's formal reporting period.
