Meet the Teacher Night - Tomorrow, Tuesday, Sept. 24th from 5:00-6:00pm is Meet the Teacher Night at William Watson! Please drop in and see where your child/children will be learning and growing this year and meet the teachers that will be supporting them in that learning. This is an informal invitation, if you have specific questions or concerns regarding your child, please connect with the teacher to make an appointment.
Terry Fox Event/Donations - Thank you William Watson community and families! Not only did we reach our school goal of $1250 for the Terry Fox Foundation, but we surpassed it!
As a school community, we were able to raise a total of $1325.05. This money will go directly to the Terry Fox Foundation to support cancer research.
Orange Shirt Day - Thursday, September 26th is Orange Shirt Day. If your child has an orange shirt, please have them wear this in honour of Orange Shirt Day. This is an important day to recognize the work we are doing to support Truth and Reconciliation.
Sept 27th - Non-Instructional Day (school closed for students)
Sept 30th- School closed for National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.
