Games Day - June 19th (Parents welcome to attend)
Your child will have been assigned a colour by their teacher for Games Day (blue, green, red and orange). Students are encouraged to wear their team colours on June 19th.
The agenda for Games Day is as follows;
8:40 - Attendance
9:00-9:20 - Team Cheers
9:20-10:10 - Station Rotations (Div 3-9 will be on Intermediate field/ track, Division 10-18 on Primary field)
10:10-10:25 - Students have indoor recess in classrooms (please send recess snack)
10:25-11:35 - Station Rotations (Div 3-9 on Intermediate field/track and Division 10-18 on Primary field)
11:48-12:25 - Lunch
12:30-1:00 - Students in classes for attendance
1:00-2:00pm - Whole school activities
2:00-2:33pm - Student clean up, back to class for end of day dismissal
Parents please visit our Parent Appreciation Table for a treat in the undercover area. This is our staff's way to say thank you for all your support this year
Grade 7 Leaving Ceremony - Tuesday, June 23, from 9:40am - 11:20am - Theme: "Enchanted Forest"
🎓 Grade 7 Students: Required to be at school by 9:15am sharp!
🎓 Parents/Guests: Attend from: 9:40am - 11:20am Doors open for guests at 9:15am
🎓 Where: School Gym.
🎓 After the Ceremony: Grade 7’s will be doing a parade around the track so all our K-6 students and teachers can share and celebrate in the Grade 7’s special day.
🎓 After the Grade 7 Parade: This is a great opportunity for parents/families to get pictures around the track and the garden area.
🎓 After the parade 11:20am: We ask all guests to leave, so our parent volunteers can set up the lunch for our grade 7 students.
🎓 After lunch: Grade 7 teachers will be facilitating the dance/activities for the students.
Important Reminders:
- Due to the large number of grade 7 students and our gym capacity requirements, we cannot accommodate more than 4 guests per student.
- Each student will be issued 4 tickets each.
- Grade 7’s with younger siblings at William Watson (K-6) will sit as a group.
- If you have pre-school aged children or older students, they will require a seat with family.
- If you would like to request additional tickets, please indicate that on the form going home and we will give them out on a first come first served basis.
