Safe Arrival Program

Regular attendance and being on time are two key factors in the student's school life.  A note to your child's teacher, or a telephone call to the office explaining the child's absence, is appreciated.

Please remember to phone (604-597-1977) between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. if your child is going to be absent.  State your child's name, division/teacher and reason for the absence.  We do have an answering machine, so if you're calling outside office hours, please leave us a message.  We will get it in the morning.

Morning attendance begins at 8:35 a.m.  Afternoon attendance is also taken in the afternoon, after lunch.  Late arrivals must report to the office.  We call home as soon as attendance is sent to the office.

School Closure Information

From time to time classes may have to be cancelled temporarily for various reasons. Parents are advised to listen to radio stations CKNW (dial 980 AM) News 1130 (dial 1130 AM) or CBC (dial 690 AM) for information about the cancellation of classes.
