 1. Required Documents:

18 years and Under:

• Photo ID of the Parent or Guardian (e.g., Driver's Licence, Passport, Photo BC Services Card, BCID Card Indigenous documentation).
• Evidence of Student Guardianship (e.g., Long Form Birth Certificate including parent’s names, Legal Guardianship or Custody Order, immigration or court documents showing guardianship).
• Evidence of Student Birth Date (e.g., Birth Certificate or Canadian Passport).
• Canadian Citizenship Status for the parent or guardian (Canadian Birth Certificate, Citizenship Card or Certificate, Passport, PR Card or Confirmation of Permanent Residency

• Families with temporary immigration status must provide an IRCC document:  Work Permit, Study Permit or Refugee Claimant Document

19 years and Over:

• Photo ID of Student (e.g., Driver's Licence, Passport, Photo BC Services Card, BCID Card Indigenous documentation).
• Canadian Citizenship Status for the Student (Canadian Birth Certificate, Citizenship Card or Certificate, Passport, PR Card or Confirmation of Permanent Residency

• Students with temporary immigration status must provide an IRCC document:  Work Permit, Study Permit or Refugee Claimant Document

2. Evidence of Residence in BC:

18 Years and Under:

• Evidence of residence for the parent/guardian in British Columbia:

• A valid government-issued Photo ID with address, and
• One of the following with a matching address:
  • Property purchase agreement
  • Utility bill
  • Rental agreement (or letter from the landlord)
  • Health documents (medical reports and letters)
  • Letter-mail with name and address of resident
  • Employment pay-slips
  • Bank statements
  • Letter from employer
  • Insurance statements or policies
  • Statement or letter from a Notary Public
  • Other documents indicating the resident’s name and address

• If no valid Government -issued Photo ID is available then provide 2 of the documents listed above with matching address.

19 years and Over:

• Evidence of residence for the Student in British Columbia:

• A valid government-issued Photo ID with address, and
• One of the following with a matching address:
  • Property purchase agreement

  • Letter-mail with name and address of resident
