Withdraw from a course:  SAIL Course Withdrawal Form - SAIL Courses ONLY

You will need to provide your 9-digit PEN number. This can be found on a school-issued learning update.

What to know about withdrawing from a course:

Due to a high volume of requests, processing may take 5-7 business days. We process all requests in the order they are received.

You will receive a confirmation email from Surrey Academy of Innovative Learning sailacademy@surreyschools.ca once your course withdrawal has been finalized.

Please read the following information carefully: 

• If you withdraw from a course after completingthe first assignment, you will receive a "W" on your school record and Learning Update. This "W" will not appear on your official transcript with the Ministry of Education, which is what most colleges and universities refer to for admissions. Please contact the admission office of the post-secondary institutions you will be applying to for more information. 
  • If you would like to re-register for the same course, you may have to wait approximately 10 months before re-registering with SAIL. Please email sailacademy@surreyschools.ca to find out your eligibility date for re-registration. Please include your full legal name and PEN or Student # when you contact the Office.  
• If you withdraw and have not completed your first assignment, no notation will appear on your transcript and you are welcome to re-register for the course right away.
