Technology Education

The Technology Education/Product Design Department is arranged to give students a hands-on approach to learning. Students start learning the basic skills that can lead to careers in Trades, Technology, and many other STEM-related areas. 

In junior grades, students will be introduced to the safe use of machines while creating various exciting projects. Courses are structured to allow students to explore and experience numerous design aspects and stages of a design cycle. These first steps into the inquiry of design give students the basic knowledge and the ability to continue into senior courses. Students will demonstrate their learning through a variety of activities, labs, and projects. 

In senior years, the courses can become more specific. Students can choose from various Trades, Technology, and many other STEM areas that interest them. Please refer to the Course Selection section of our website for further information.
