Welcome Back BBQ & Meet the Teacher Event - Thursday September 18

Last year we had our first Welcome Back BBQ at Colebrook.  It was huge success and a great time was had by all.  We would like to have the same outcome this year but need you all to confirm you are coming.  Please see below and click on the link to respond.  It is an easy form to fill out.  We truly hope to see you all there.

Meet the Teacher with our Welcome Back BBQ

We are excited to invite you to our Welcome Back BBQ and Meet the Teacher event next Thursday, September 18th. This event is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect, meet new families, and introduce our staff.

Event Details:

● Date: Thursday, September 18, 2025

● Time: 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM

○ 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM: Join us in the gym for a short presentation by Mr. Zadeiks, our principal, who will introduce the staff and share a few words about the upcoming school year.

○ 5:00 PM: BBQ and Informal Meet the Teacher

To help us plan for the BBQ, we kindly ask that you fill out the survey, link below, to indicate your family's attendance and food preferences. If you would like to help out, please include that information in the survey as well. We will definitely be needing your help to set up, BBQ and to take down.

We also need to borrow one extra BBQ and at least two full tanks of propane to use in cooking the hot dogs. Please email jackson_a@surreyschools.ca if you can share your BBQ and/or propane tanks for this event.

We encourage families to bring their own refreshments but we will have water and potato chips as well.
