Betty Huff Theatre Company | Provide young people with quality theatre opportunities to help them grow in confidence. We unleash the power of curiosity, empathy, and imagination. Our mission is to inspire children to dream, explore, think, and connect through theatre. We bring stories to life in a way that encourages children to dream about who they are and may become. We explore story from different perspectives and connect to other people and ideas. Grade 3 - 7 | Days vary depending on production. 2:30pm – 5pm Library / Gym / Theatre |
Empower MEdia | The Empower MEdia program will engage students in grades 5-7 with important topics on digital citizenship in ways that encourage creativity, exploration, acquisition of new knowledge and empowerment. Topics may include but are not limited to health and well-being online, privacy, safety, digital footprint, digital commerce, identity, relationships, communication/etiquette, cyberbullying, news/media literacy and social media wellness. | Tuesday and Thursday 2:45 – 4:30 French Room

Racing Readers | Racing Readers is a program created in partnership with the Surrey School District and the SFU Surrey – TD Community Engagement Centre. This after-school program is designed to fill the need for an increased level of physical activity and literacy skills among children in Grades 3-5. Throughout the program, children will participate in physical activities, reading and writing exercises, and will be served a healthy snack. At the end of the program, students will have the opportunity to celebrate their progress and success in both the physical and literacy aspects of the program. | Wednesday 2:45 – 4:30 French Room / Multipurpose room |
BLAST Senior | Bring Learning to After School Time: The BLAST Senior group (grades 5 – 7) offers students a safe and engaging environment to learn and develop new skills in various subjects, including physical literacy, healthy living and social and emotional skills through various positive interactions and activities. During the program, students will focus on creating positive peer relationships and building leadership skills, while engaging with their community, through daily and weekly activities, planned out-trips and visits from community leaders. | Monday 2:45pm – 4:30pm Location: TBA
