Career Education 9

Career Education 9 is a ministry-required program related to the annual national event "Take Our Kids To Work Day" (TOKTWD).

The mandatory TOKTWD takes place every November.  On this day, students attend work with a parent, relative, family friend, or guardian to see what it might be like in the working world.  The program has been designed to encourage students to start making career plans. The day has the potential to open up discussions about their future between caregivers and the children they love. This program also brings exposer to businesses who may help students to understand the importance of career planning and informed decision making and setting goals.
