Social Studies

Social Studies is a multidisciplinary subject which examines the social, cultural and political structures on a local, national and international scale. This subject aims to establish critical thinking skills for our students to inspire active citizenship in our own communities. Through our subjects we examine historical perspectives from the past while connecting through a critical lens at the events of today, in hopes of inspiring a better tomorrow. In addition, we work to utilize indigenous perspectives and ways of learning in order to work toward reconciliation.
