About Our School
Dogwood is an Elementary School located in the Fraser Heights Area of Surrey. We have approximately 390 students in Kindergarten through grade 7. Our shared values identify teamwork, community, responsibility. We have school wide expectations with a focus on respect. Our Dogwood community members work towards being in our "POOL" of Respect by: Respecting: Property, Ourselves , Others and Learning,
Our school provides a variety of opportunities for students to get involved including student leadership, spirit days, assemblies, sports teams and clubs. Our students have access to technology which they use throughout the school day in a variety of ways to support their learning. Our staff offer many extracurricular activities for our students including volleyball, track and field, badminton, ultimate frisbee and gymnastics.
Our experienced staff enjoys collaborating with each other and work to support our students' Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) using a variety of resources to help students with self-regulation.
We have a wonderfully diverse and inclusive community with supportive parents and families. Our Parent Advisory Council (PAC) supports a variety of opportunities including hip hop dance lessons, Zumba, fine arts presentations and guest speakers.
