Head Start in Art - Creative Processes
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Head Start in Art is delivered in partnership with Emily Carr University of Art + Design and provides students with an opportunity to complete a post-secondary foundations level art course while still in high school. Head Start in Art is taught by an Emily Carr instructor.
Participants earn credit for Emily Carr course FNDT 108 Creative Processes. This course transfers to other Fine Art programs. This course is required for all three Bachelor Degree programs - Fine Arts, Design, and Media Arts.
Applicants are required to have an overall average of 67% or better, and a C or better in English 11 or 12. In addition applicants have taken or are enrolled in two grade 11 or 12 academic courses, and two grade 11 or 12 elective courses (Visual Art 11 or 12 recommended).
