Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 3:30 pm

Reporting Student Absences/Lates

If your child will be absent or late, please phone the school office at 604-597-5234. Our school has voicemail, so a message can be left at any time of the day or night. Parents/Guardians can also email tamanawis@surreyschools.ca or you can report through the Tamanawis Wildcats app.

Please make sure you clearly state the students first and last name and student number when reporting the student absence.

You will receive a telephone call and/or email when your child has an unexcused absence from school.

If a student will be away for five or more consecutive days, please request an Extended Absence form from the office to be completed and returned one week prior to the departure date.

From time to time classes may have to be cancelled temporarily for various reasons. Parents are advised to listen to radio stations CKNW (dial 980 AM) News 1130 (dial 1130 AM) or CBC (dial 690 AM) for information about the cancellation of classes.
