Ready, Set, Learn

Ready, Set, Learn is open to children aged 3 and 4 in our community!

Time: 2:00 – 2:25 pm 

Place: Port Kells Elementary School Playground

To help with our planning, please RSVP to the school via portkells@surreyschools.ca or 604-882-2021 by Friday, Sep 13. 

You’re invited to visit our school for an open house for preschoolers who are three or four years old, and their parents/caregivers. 

Ready, Set, Learn is designed to provide children and families with an opportunity to participate in a series of play-based learning activities to help prepare preschoolers for kindergarten. The program is part of an initiative sponsored by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Children and Family Development and the Ministry of Health. 

Free books and information! 

Besides having fun and learning about their new school, children will receive a free new age-appropriate book. Mom and dad will receive helpful tips to support their child’s learning and development, as well as information about school education programs and community resources available to families regarding child health, development and more. It’s a great way for you to get to know your future school and meet the principal, staff and even students.
