Kindergarten lottery applications open Jan. 27 to Feb 14

Online applications for the lottery for select 2025 kindergarten programs at Surrey and White Rock elementary schools open on Monday, Jan. 27.

Lottery applications for kindergarten programs open Monday, Jan. 27 at 9 a.m. and will be accepted until Friday, Feb. 14 at 4 p.m. The Programs of Choice lottery system is for students hoping to enter the Early French Immersion, Montessori, Intensive Fine Arts, Traditional and Outdoor Land-Based Learning and EKOLogy programs in September 2025.

Parents and guardians have a three-week window to apply between Jan. 27 and Feb. 14. Once the online application process has closed, a random automated draw will take place Feb. 21. Lottery results will be emailed to applicants to accept, decline or be placed on a waiting list.
