Literacy Foundation courses

If you're an English language learner, we're here to help.
The Literacy Foundation program is a great option for students who wish to attain their high school completion and whose first language is not English.
The Literacy Foundation curriculum addresses the needs of adult students who have significant skill and knowledge gaps and who need to upgrade skills to be successful at the Grade 10, 11 and 12 courses leading to graduation.
New students are assessed prior to registering for a class to determine their level of English.
Literacy Foundation courses are offered in:

• Computer studies
• English
• Math
• Science
• Social studies

Day and evening classes are available at the Invergarry Adult Education Centre.
Foundations of Literacy is formerly the English Language Development and Adult Basic Education programs.
