Reporting Student Absences/Lates
Please report all absences and lates to the office by calling 604-576-8551. Our school has Voicemail, so a message can be left at any time of the day or night.
We are a very large school, so it is appreciated when parents call and leave a message. Please speak clearly stating your child's name and division or teacher's name.
Bell Schedule
8:30 | Entry Bell |
8:35 | Classes Begin |
10:15 - 10:30 | Recess |
11:45 - 12:00 | Students eat lunch |
12:00 - 12:30 | Students go out |
12:30 | Classes in Session |
2:30 | Dismissal |
2:45 | Supervision of students ends (unless involved in a supervised extra-curricular activity or under supervision of a teacher). |
School Closure Information
From time to time classes may have to be cancelled temporarily for various reasons. Parents are advised to listen to radio stations CKNW (dial 980 AM) News 1130 (dial 1130 AM) or CBC (dial 690 AM) for information about the cancellation of classes.
