Surrey Libraries Summer Reading Program
Reading is the key to a rich and interesting life!
It is so important for your children to read regularly and children who read more do better in school. Every summer, the Surrey Public Library hosts a Summer Reading Club. This year, the theme is World of Curiosities. This program is free and available for the entire family, from preschoolers to adults. Our closest library is the Strawberry Hill branch by Home Depot and Strawberry Hill Shopping Complex. Students can sign-up in person at the library beginning June 19. Also, anyone can sign-up for their own free library card. Children need to read for at least 15 minutes a day and can read anything or be read to. Your child can earn a medal for 49 nights of reading as well as get their name in draws for prizes and participate in fun free programs. Your child has brought home a bookmark with more information about this amazing program. We would love for everyone to be involved, even you as parents!
